ABOUT US:
We bought a starter kit on a whim in 1995 - included was a hot-head torch, a pair of didymium specs, a few rods of Moretti glass, and some basic tools. We had seen some American lampworked beads at that point, and were very intrigued with the notion of making our own. The first few days were comical! One of us reading the pamphlet "You Can Make Glass Beads" while the other one struggled to get the glass to the right temperature to do the things the pamphlet said to do.
We finally got enough practice to be able to put our own designs into the beads, and the rest is history. Since those first few beads, we've been trying to keep our designs original and unique, while usable as jewelry components. The usability is constantly tested by our own use of our beads in our jewelry designs. All the jewelry is hand-made by us. The metals are either sterling silver or 14/20 gold-filled.
Our work is shown at many fine Bead Stores & Galleries around the country.
